Black tie attire required. A black tuxedo or suit for men and an evening gown for women. The ceremony and dinner will be hosted on the lawn, so plan footwear accordingly.
Please arrive 30 minutes early. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour, dinner, and after-party, ending at midnight.

Heading To Lucca, Italy

Monday, October 5th

After the wedding weekend, we’ll be heading to Lucca, Italy with our families for the remainder of the week before leaving for our honeymoon on Thursday. Anyone who would like to continue the celebration and experience one of our favorite Italian cities is more than welcome to join us there! Travel, lodging, and additional plans will be arranged individually.

We are asking immediate family and the wedding party to stay at Dimora Ghirlandaio. We would like all other guests to stay as close as possible. Our recommended accommodations are below.

FAQ'S

When should I arrive in Florence?

Many guests will be arriving on Wednesday or Thursday. Although we’ll be gathering and spending time together beforehand, the wedding festivities officially begin on Friday evening.

What's the best airport to fly into?

Florence is, of course, the easiest option. If you’re looking for direct flights from the U.S., the best alternatives are Rome, Milan, Venice, or Pisa. From any of these cities, Florence is easily accessible by car or train.

Is transportation provided to and from events?

We’ll have two rental vans available for those staying near the venue. That said, guests will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from events.

Are there taxis/ubers available?

Taxis and Uber are generally available in Florence, but transportation can be more limited in the Tuscan countryside. We recommend staying as close to the venue as possible. If you choose to stay in Florence city center, please plan your transportation for the weekend in advance.

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for, so we will not be having a registry. If you would like to do something extra, feel free to bring a card or donate to a local charity that is meaningful to you.
